Yep. But at least its yummy.

Me too; spicy stuff is delicious.

One of my uncles told a story once where he and his buddies used to down packets of Fire sauce (or whatever it was called then) and one day he did it by himself, he was unconscious and when he woke up, he said that the chair was spinning. After all of this my aunt asked him why he did it, and he said "because it was right in front of me". Hilarious indeed.

Anyway, soft tacos are my favorite meal when made with Old Paso. I usually make them. What you do is get sour cream, green Chili Peppers (optional), Mexican cheese by Sergento, sour cream, el Paso refried beans, and of course Pace Hot salsa. I could eat that any-day.

I actually prefer hard tacos with seasoned beef, lettuce and multiple types of cheese.

I picked 'Other'. Tacos are one of those foods that I must be in the mood for. If I crave them, then yes, good hard shell taco is awesome, but if I'm not int he mood, I don't care for them. They are usually one of those rare foods that I enjoy in low doses.

We went to Tijuana Flats tonight for dinner. Their grilled tacos are absolutely delicious!

And NOW the hard-shell taco fans come out of the woodwork.

Not many good Mexican restaurants around here, though... and I'm not making a trek halfway across town to get to the Taco Bell.

Gimme a hard shell taco with meat, cheese, and lettuce. You have a happy camper with me.

Add hot sauce in that mix and you've got a Rick filled with glee. Whatever that means to you.

Oh man.

I would love to have a soft-shelled taco with ground beef, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, and sour cream.

That would be absolutely delicious.

And now I wanna sneak over to Taco Bell and get some cheap fare.

Too bad there isn't one for at least a good hour away. =/

Wow, I've noticed that a lot of you guys don't live near stuff/places.

There's a Taco Bell very close to me. It's also a KFC.

Where I am, we have combined Taco Bells/Pizza Huts, as well as Taco Bell/KFCs.

It's weird.

Here in the big city, its hard not to live near something. I have McDonalds 2 blocks away, Wienerschnitzel, Subway, Taco Bell, Burger King, Little Caesars, and Del Taco all within a 5-6 mile radius.

Fun Fact: Taco Bell and KFC were once owned by Pepsi Co, hence the double fast food buildings. So was Pizza Hut. Then they were sold off to another company that owns them all still.

You should combine the combinations so you can get tacos covered in sauce and cheese with fried chicken on top.

An 8-slice taco, of course.

There's at least 1 combined Taco Bell/KFC in Seattle. I've ordered stuff from the KFC and got Taco Bell drinking cups

The biggest fast food places around here seem to be Starbucks and Subway, though.

I have both a TB/Pizza Hut and TB/KFC nearby.

The tacos are pretty much universally good. Whenever I go to the Pizza Hut one I try to avoid the pizza, since it's kinda... eh-ish sometimes (but other times it's not bad), but if I go to the KFC one I always get chicken.

Oddly enough, I've never seen just a standalone Taco Bell since.

Never been a huge fan of hard or soft tacos, though if I had to choose, I'd definitely choose soft. I can never eat a hard one without the shell splitting down the middle and dumping its contents all over my plate.

I think what bothers me more than anything else is the dryness of hard tacos. I feel like I need to down a gallon of water after eating one, regardless of what toppings it has. I much prefer really juicy stuff, like shredded beef burritos smothered in enchilada sauce. Mmmmmmm.

I'm also a sucker for a lot of the stuff they put in "fake" (e.g. Taco Bell) Mexican food, particularly nacho cheese sauce. Cheesy Double Beef Burritos are amazing (and cheap!) when you have a craving for something really fatty and savory.

I only like soft tacos and burritos. I also prefer them more Mexican style (refried beans, rice and meat) but with cheese and sour cream sometimes. I'm not a fan of lettuce or tomato in my tacos/burritos.

Ugh, I know this all too well. I've been able to manage eating them without doing so as of late (when tacos are made at home, hard shell isn't bad) but... the shells still crack and it's irritating.
