Pokemon Jul is a hack of Pokemon Gold. It is a whole new world, with new ideas and new events that are themed after this board.
Overall Goal
To make something that stands out as a Pokemon hack. A hack where the events do not feel like you are just playing a text hack. I really do hope the hack that is created will be enjoyable for everyone.
Story
You are a new member to the Jul forums, just as they have installed the Pokemon Battle System. Explore, make friends and contribute to the board.
"New" Features
Pokemon Jul will feature:
Inns that cause day to shift to night, and night to day.
Lots of Mini quests.
Catch All 250 Pokemon.
Change your costume and color!
Get your own apartment, and get all the decorations without mystery gift.

I seriously used to think that Pokémon was strictly a trading card game because I saw people with the cards at school. Plus I didn't have a Game Boy yet then, so I kind of missed the whole craze when it was new.

I take it you're going to use all of Gold's pokemon? I suppose designing pokemon is harder than it sounds... I know, I've started plans for pokemon hacks with all new pokemon twice, which never got past the planning phase before I got disinterested.

Anyhow, I was hoping you might share some details on what you had planned for the game world. Like, areas and such. Maybe places in the world is based on fora from here? If so we need "it" to be in there. :smugdra:
Not to mention we could have a lot of those from team ban in the trashcan inspired area? Maybe these ideas as stupid, but hey, I want to know more about this hack. :3

I was going to suggest that, actually. I bet there's tons of trainer slots, just ask people what Pokémon they want(, and what they say would be great too)
