Well, we bought an iPad last week. This week, we returned it.

But I will give a short review on using it for that week:

Fun! I didn't even have to buy any paid apps to enjoy using it. There are a fair few free ones that are pretty good. I had my eye on a few paid apps I wanted to get but didn't have the money for until this paycheck.

But the best thing about it was being able to post to Jul from anywhere in the house. I even had it out in the garage while my father-in-law was working on his 1964 Chevy Nova, getting information he needed off the web. Very cool to have.

But alas we returned it and back to normal computing.

I put sold, but should have said returned.

My wife decided she wanted to have a full computer instead of just the iPad. She wants to play StarCraft II with me now. We were originally going to get her another laptop, but her old desktop was readily available so we're going to do some upgrades to that. It can play SC2 on low settings for now, but I want to get it up to par for more modern games.

The only thing that makes the iPad seem appealing to me is comics.

All the manga/comics I could ever want in the same space as one magazine? Very very appealing!
