more news, some of it may be old

- DSi/3DS exclusive feature: Live Caster
- Live Caster must be obtained in-game
- Live Caster allows video chats with friends
- 4-player over local wireless or 2 player over wi-fi for Live Caster use
- Pass By mode: using the C Gear, you can connect with other players when you walk by them
- Details on what these Pass By mode connects do have not been revealed
- order in which your Pokemon take during triple battles plays into the damage calculations
- High Link feature: massive overworld hub that allows you to walk up to other players and offer help in the form of mission
- High Link feature is located in the Isshu region
- Rankurusu is the Green Pokemon
- Gochiruzeru is the Black humanshape Pokemon
- Gochiruzeru knows the attack 'Magic Room' which will negate effects of any items on both you and your opponent

Also, 3/3 battles.... Yeah. I don't really enjoy 2/2 battles all that much, so...

Crapload of info. Alternate source.

Some of it... Basically it seems you come over with your two best friends (Cheren, the guy in the messy room that appeared in the trailer, and Bel/Belle who was shown in another leak) and each of you get an starter. The three travel together at the start of the game it seems.
Green haired dude goes by N. He seems to be pretty much a rival. He thinks that his pokemon are his friends, but that pokemon should be free from people and each should live separate.
Triple battles have one pokemon as the lead and other two at the sides. The pokemon at each side can attack only their same opponent or the opponent leader, not across the battlefield. Of course there are attacks and abilities that mess around with this.
Black City is a dark place with neon buildings and appears in Pokemon Black, while White Forest is... a forest with spiral trees, and appears in Pokemon White. Also, some cities are different in each game.

Then there's information on a few pokemon... and a lot of bizarre gameplay features like that of uploading the saves to the internet or multiplayer and some bizarre thing about pokemon going to a dream world where you can get pokemon not from the region.
The DSi compatibility is just a camera thing for video chat.

I still don't think it's New York, when someone brought it up in an IRC room, I went and looked and there's tons of places in Japan it could be.

Besides, all the other games were in Japan. Deer are very common in Japan (hence deer-scares), musicals are also popular, and Japan has trains and subways all over the place.

Essentially, Japan is like a big new york.

I don't think I've seen official word it's based off of New York anyways, all I've seen is /v/ conspiracy

Oh, I thought it was official or something. I mean, the fact that it's very far away from all the other previous regions, so much so that most of the old Pokemon won't appear, and has a bunch of Pokemon species similar to chipmunks, pigeons, and other things that really fit. But of course, I don't know enough about Japan to show it couldn't be there either.

As it stands, there's nothing to say either way, but in Japan's bigger cities those things are common too.

And we know that Hoenn, Sinnoh, Johto, and Kanto are all pretty close, so it could just be another part of Japan. >.> (Sinnoh is the furthest)

I liked the starters and even the dragons. I didn't care for most of the commons... But that thing? I hate that thing.

I'm going to assume that the new evil group is going to spend the game knocking on peoples doors to try and get more members. (their outfit is almost as dumb as the one Team Galactic had.)

Oh and, I have seen several of the new ones that look way more awful then that thing. And like always, some that I like too, of course.

You know, when they said they where going to bring in some new ideas to ~~these~~ this games I assumed we would not have a team X doing evil stuff.

Then again, maybe that's expecting too much. Even the more story driven (and kick arse) XD had an evil team trying to take over the world.

Also, yeah, plasma sounds like a really lame team name. Then again, so did the rest off them too from the other gens.
