I've had Piwik set up for a while, tracking the visits the Wiki gets so I can see how it's spreading.

I've thought about adding it to the actual board for quite some time, but it was already using Google Analytics... and after about a month of using Piwik and longer using GA, I'm switching it. This should also make the site suck a bit less at the end of a page.

The other advantage is that I can open it so everyone can view it, not just me. So, behold:

stats.rustedlogic.net.

You can switch which website you're looking at in the top right; defaults to the Wiki, though.

Fun thing to do: Add the Live! widget — it shows visits in real time, which is what I like to do, watch the hits on the Wiki

(This is also available if anybody on rl.net (or elsewhere, I guess) has enough traffic to merit the page, which is more or less "more than 10 a day" )

I hate to say this, but sometimes I think the most fun thing about running a website is seeing the crazy search terms that lead to my site every day. The internet can be a really sad, and/or strange place sometimes...

I have whole pages of crap I'd gladly delete in an instant if it weren't for the fact that they're search term comedy gold mines.
