______________________________________________________________
It says:
______________________________________________________________
Unhandled exception has ocurred in your application. If you click
Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If
you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

The path is not of a legal form.

|(down icon)Details| |Continue| |Quit|

If i click details,appears a giant text.
If i click continue,nothing happens.
If i click Quit, the editor closes.
It only exports. But i want to import.I will work in a hack when it works.
I'm using the tileset editor by hand, pixel by pixel(and i don't like it).
Thanks again if anyone reply and thanks halpara.

Sorry for bad english,i'm Brazilian and i learning english at time

I not used google translator or bablefish

You must first select a file: click the button next to the big text box and select it.
Then the file path will appear on the text box. Then click import.

Star coin sprite:
- Set an activation ID
Sprite 197:
- Place it at the top-left corner of the tile rectangle you want to create.
- Set its width and height.
- Set the activation ID the same as the one on the Star Coin
- Check "Never time out" if you want the blocks to not disappear after a certain time.
- Check "Create, not destroy" if you want to get that rectangle of blocks created, otherwise leave it unchecked.

You can place multiple sprite 197's in case you want multiple rectangles to be created / destroyed

Set the entrance type to "Mini pipe facing xxxx" and place it exactly on the 16x16 tile where the pipe ends.
The entrance id's and the other stuff works the same as always. You can even make connected mini pipes

Does anyone know of an object that hurts Mario from every direction? Hurts, not kills.

Hmmm

I dont know.

If you want a tile, then maybe you can play with the spike behaviors, but i think it's not possible.

If you want a sprite, there's probably plenty of them. Maybe you can get a jumping fireball (like the ones in 1-castle) not to move or some other trick like that.

Well I was gonna use the hurting behavior for a custom tile that I made, but I guess the best I have is lava. I'll try messing with spikes to see if that gets me anywhere.

EDIT: Ok, I found a behavior that hurts Mario from whatever way he touches it. In case anyone wants it, it's 1C 00 01 1F.

This one is better!
It doesn't have the water effects from above
03 00 00 10

But it's not fixed!
When you change them to a "fixed" tile (03 00 01 10), it won't work anymore

I used this behavior in my spike run!

Ah, thanks! But what do you mean "fixed tile"?

EDIT: Ok, I've modified it so it's solid, hurts from each side, and there's no water effect. 1C 00 01 1C

sometimes when i edit levels, i go to play them and there is no mario head when im selecting the rom its just all messed up and glitchy and so is the name. And there are no cheats they are just gone.
Is it because i put too many objects in the one level?
sorry if this question has been asked before.

This is a known bug in version 5.1 of the editor.
It will be fixed in the next release. The only thing it breaks is the icon/title of the ROM. Don't worry about it, the ROM will load and play fine.
