The only Let's Player I watch on a frequent basis would be Raocow. He's hilarious. Granted, a lot of it is just "lol so randum XD" humor, but the fact that its pretty original shit, he doesn't swear at all (which I can respect), and it's constant stream of consciousness that makes it pretty worth watching.

What do you people use to do LPs? At the moment, I'm using Hypercam 3 to record the game video and audio and a microphone to record my voice, but the game audio always seems to override my voice, so I have to shout into the mic just to be heard.

...Turn down the game audio so that it's audible but it's not drowning out your voice?

Fixed it

That was the first thing I tried doing in SNES9x. Turned the game volume down to 25% and it was still overriding my voice. I started messing around in the sound control panel and anything that wasn't Rear Pink In was turned down to 25%. Work perfectly now, as seen in Parts 6, 7 and 8 of my Super Metroid Let's Play

As of yet I have no idea how to submit LPs other than contacting them. I have contacted them asking how it works, but haven't checked for a response yet. This could be a way for those of us who do LPs but haven't really been picked up on yet to get exposure, but I have no idea how well it would work out...

Edit: okay, that's just a little disturbing... apparently the guy has mostly just picked and chosen a bunch of different LP series at random, though some people have contacted him to request their videos added.

Back in 08 or 07...I tried to do a little bit of LP-ing myself. If you want to see shit, search my name. (If you do, how about an opinion? Should I try again with my increased age? Try it in a different method? Or just not do it like I have been? I like non-offensive opinions.)
