| The most popular system will have the most crap games for it. It was true for the NES, SNES, PSX, and PS2. Since the Wii is the most popular system, it has the most amount of crapware. I remember reading this from an article somewhere. |

| Yea, but It might just be because 3rd party developers trys to make thier games too gimicky which kills the fun. Why don't companys forget about the motion controls, most of the truly great games hardly use them anyway |

I think the Wii is awesome. It's my most played console at the moment, because of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

 Of course the Wii isn't the most popular. The Xbox 360 is. With its online service and title and such, how can it not be? That's not to say that the others aren't popular, of course. 
I'll just stick with my Wii, though.

I haven't actually finished it. I got caught up in Metroid Prime, hacking SM64, building on ROBLOX and finally continuing my Super Metroid LP

Personally, I base it on what I like and dislike about them:
With the Wii, I love the motion controls and Nintendo have amazing game series, like Metroid, Mario and Zelda. I've never cared much about graphics because gameplay > graphics.
With the PS3, although the motion sensing is limited, the PS3 is a great console and has some awesome game series like Ratchet & Clank. And all of the online features make it good.
With the XBox 360, there isn't much that I like about it. I sold it twice. Microsoft are stupid with the modding community, they make you pay for Internet features and there were few games that I enjoyed. It consisted of Mass Effect and Tomb Raider before I sold it the second time.

I just based my preference on how appeling the games are
I do pefer my PS3 over my 360 though just because my friends all have them and it's currently not broken. As for my Wii I play it all the time, I stop playing it for a bit as the games got boring but as soon as I hacked it, I feel like playing it all the time now  |

I haven't touched my Wii since I played Twilight Princess early last year, and only got a PS3 for FF13. Other than that, they've all been collecting dust  |

Things does tend to get boring over on the Wii side of things, when that happens I play emulators on it or play other people hacks on it.
The thing is that my Wii is currently the only thing entertaning me. |

I'm still insanely glad I traded in my PS3 for a Wii.
I used to love the PS3, but Sony took out Other OS and the thing just stagnated from there. If the 360 didn't have such a high failure rate, I might have looked into one.
Even if I only have a few games for the Wii, I'm honestly getting a lot more enjoyment out of it than I was the PS3 and its titles. (I do miss Cross Edge though, sigh...)
I still want to set up homebrew at some point. Sucked losing all that when I traded in the PS3, but I can live with it until I pick up something else.

It is anoying though that the PS3, the most powerful console of the bunch gets ported Xbox 360 versions of games which kills the PS3 extra power  |

My Nintendo Wii got so little use that I actually gave it to my parents.
I used to use my PS3 quite frequently, but I had to unplug it to make room for the XBOX360 I got recently.
Both are as good, really. |
