Also, I'm leaving on August 1st to go to Disneyland with my two best friends! ^^ I'm beyond excited.
I've never been to any Disneyland, but I did go to Legoland in Germany (as an adult) I used to love Lego and I bought all kinds of cool exclusive-ish (and ordinary) stuff.
Then, my parents visited me there and I went again, with them.
I might be going on a trip with the family in the next week or so, but I'm not sure yet.
For the most part I'll be working all summer, either nothing but freelancing (web development and such, by client) or if I can get a job at a company/firm/agency in the Maritimes then at the least I would have a (bi-)weekly paycheck.
I love themeparks, I when to one near where I lived the other day (It was Thorpe Park for the those in the UK).
Came with 3 friends and two of their mates, which was slightly embrasing as they were all girls, I was the only boy in the group Anyway I had great fun mainly because I LOVE rolercosters :p
Best thing I remember about Michigan was the lake effect snow. We lived in Spring Lake, just a few miles from the Lake Michigan coast. We would get snow drifts up the side of the house. Fun stuff as a kid.
Wish I was there now, but stuck in an oven down here in the south. People here vacation to the north, while people in the north vacation in the south.

It's even weirder over here as it feels as if everyone who lives in the UK would want to go somewere else in the world while at the same time it feels the whole world wants to go here.

I've also heard that with regards to city vs. country, but it wasn't true with my parents. We lived in rural Michigan, and most of our vacations were to other parts of rural Michigan as well It was rather dull after a while.
My vacation (for a week) away from work starts this Friday!
