I'm very much a night person, it's not out of the ordinary for me to sleep between something like 7:30 am and 4 or 5 pm. Which really sucks because my classes in the upcoming semester start at 7 or 8 am or something like that (too lazy to check). I'm either going to have to do the "shift my sleep schedule even further so I can go to class and then go to sleep" thing or the "attempt to sleep and wake up at normal hours" thing and it ain't gonna be pretty either way.

I always need to have coffee when I wake up because most of the time I have to leap out of bed, wake up, and get going with whatever I have to do, and I don't have the time to naturally wake up and get with it. I'm very much too 'get up and go'.

Lucky for me, I do love me some coffee, so it's not a big bother.

Easier said than done. Especially because back then they didn't have things like electricity and internet. When the sun went down, that was it. Candles can only do so much, and they were pretty expensive.

Once I went from having no classes before 5:45 in the evening one semester (although I worked afternoons too) to having 10:00 physics class every morning. Not only that, but Mondays were about 10.5 hours of school/work not counting transportation from and to home. At least that was only 1 day a week, hopefully I never have a regular 52.5-hour workweek

Between work, school, and other important errands, I am usually forced awake at 8 or earlier every day. If I open at work, I have to be there at 7. :x It's tough for me because I'm not a morning person at all, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Because of this, I've adjusted my internal clock to go to bed around midnight every night. Back when I had less responsibility, I would stay up until 3 or 4 am without hesitation.

I know what you mean. I have about 20 hours a week of school including transportation time, plus ~26 hours a week of work. That's not even counting homework time... it's exhausting to be a working student. Can't wait to finish my education!
