Got a small update for my hack... just had to show this one off!
Pulsed laser turret. It shoots a straight laser too, but most of the time it shoots in a pulsed fashion. It could be due to DD's new level format or it could be the autoscrolling I'm using for this level. Either way, the pic does not do it justice. |

Renders nearly every track nearly perfectly now. Most of the glitches are just I need to find some of the hardcoded pointers and add them to the data files. Luigi Raceway is one notable exception. 
Its textures seem to be in a very strange place indeed, devoid of any actual image data. Quite odd. MOAR PICTURES 
^- polygon selection! 
So far you can poke at polygons and manually edit their vertices, as well as anything else, but not save things.
