Hello. I'm Glisp. I found this place while searching through badnik.net's channel list in my X-Chat IRC client. I was looking through when I stumbled upon #x and a day later, I wound up registering after reading the cutting room floor wiki.
The wiki is still growing, as I've saw. There are actually a few things I could help with. Most of which is in the Pokemon sections of the CRF wiki. You see, I'm actually a member of the Pokemon Glitch Research Website known as Glitchcity Laboratories. That might sound kind of odd that a glitchologist would know something about video game beta information. However, sometimes glitches show prototype data.
For instance, Missingno and its lookalike, *pixelblock* 'M *pixelblock*, share a type that was probably the beta name for the Flying type, known as Bird type.
I know a lot more info than that too. However, It would probably be a waste to post it here. Especially since the post would get too long to be entertaining.
I might also be able to add beta info for a few Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games as well. Namely, the Streets of Rage (also known as Bare Knuckle in Japan) series for instance as I'm quite well known in the Streets of Rage community for finding a ton of unused uncompressed art in a couple of the SOR games.
Anyway, I hope you guys are friendly. I'll try to keep my form but I'm very easily frustrated, agitated, provoked, and otherwise angered. Just a fair warning. You all seem like nice people (well except for a few of you I know from elsewhere. Ahm.  )
So I doubt I'll get pissed off or angered very often if at all. I personally hate loading out my anger on others, but sometimes I easily feel threatened which makes that difficult.

Glitchcity, I love that website. I actually love the glitches in Pokemon Red, the game actually feels like an Action Replay for itself  I can tell you know alot about the games coding so I bet you know of alot of the beta stuff in the game. Looking forward to your future posts  |
