On another forum that I frequently peruse, lots of people say that I'm spamming because I use a signature and that for it to be a signature, I need to use my name. So, I figured that if I used the people on here to compile a list of signatures that don't use names, I'll be cleared and the stupid "You're a spamming noob" will stop. Sound good?

EDIT: Uh, on the note of spamming, would this go here or Craziness Domain? Or nowhere?

Wait.

Not having your name in your signature is "spamming"? That's the first time I've heard of that definition of "spamming". I can understand getting pissy over people's sigs being too long in terms of vertical space, but being required to use your name seems odd.

As for mine, technically my initials are in there twice, but neither my username nor my full real name is there. Unless you count the picture of FF6's Terra at the right.

Can you just ignore them? Or you could do something snarky, like putting "my name" in the signature

Do they want your real name there, or your username?

I once went to a board where they expected you to use your real first and last name as your username. They even had a "First Name" and a "Last Name" field. I thought that was kind of bizarre.

Just pay the $20 for blockland or something. The community still sucks, but you don't really deal with them unless you have to, which isn't often. I've made a total of like, 3 posts in the blockland forums and have had the game for 2 and a half years.

Blockland seems pretty well self-contained as it is, since it's based on a game engine taken from an FPS or something, so you can just use it single player and keep everything on your end, and if you don't like someone on your server, just ban them, I do it all the time.

I've left plenty of bad communities over the years. With some, I got fed up with the total lack of rules and general anarchy. Others, even including Acmlm's I2 for me, had a few problem users who would make my experience with the board unpleasant. At at least 1 board, there was a moronic policy regarding LGBT issues that made me unwelcome there.

I did look at Blockland, but there way more opportunities on ROBLOX I mean, you can't even script on Blockland ¬¬

I don't want to be rude, ass and harsh, but the internet is full of a immeasurable ignorance and idiocy, especially Facebook. Think, a female user, i heard (won't tell the name) was rudely banned from a forum because she revealed she was a girl (before that, her gender was unknown), so admins, for fun, banned her. So i am not surprised by this kind of problems. Internet is really useful, but when i read about this kind of crap would destroy it (even if i don't know how). Well, think bad about me, it's just my opinion.
For now, i would put my name as signature, in the while, if they want it. wouldn't care what they think. I just stopped caring.

Considering they can't even properly define spamming, I don't think it will make a bit of difference. They could just as easily say that you collected the signatures from a bunch of "spammers".

It has serverside and clientside scripting, as well as some funky brick events system which can be pretty useful. Also, as far as I can tell, can have a much larger amount of bricks before it chokes.
