I can't think of anything better that "RV" could stand for. The unusual button placement/shape makes it even more likely.

I'm pretty sure those are from battlerock and dreadnaught galaxy. the one with the five circles could be king calientes first planet without the goo on top... But I'm unsure of it...

I'm guessing that was for a quick placeholder image for a wiimote for some sort of tutorial.

Yes, but it's still fundamentally different from an actual Wiimote. Notice the two buttons at the top as opposed to just the D-Pad, as on a stock controller.

I was expecting a decorative sea turtle or something, but instead I get this. I don't remember this guy at all. He has animations for being hit by a spin attack and crawling the way a sea creature would on land. Anyone recognize him? I think he's pretty cute.

One look at Spiny's model and you'll see that they are quite different. And yes, this is from SMG1's models.


Edit: Not to mention the fact that the model name would be "Togezo" if it was indeed Spiny.

While I add it to the wiki, can anyone figure out what the name means? I get the "umi" part, but it's not really a Koopa Troopa at all and the only results for uminoko I get is the name of a yacht and a drink.


Edit: Figuring out Banekiti's name would be helpful, too.

As I've said before, it's most likely these are assets from some other game. That said, we still need to figure out which game that is. Judging by the quality of this latest model, I'm guessing it might be on the Gamecube as well.

Note that this might not be his truest appearance, so I'll get a better pic later. The only thing of interest about him is that he has five 8x8 textures, each one of a solid color. He also makes use of the same environment image that most of the other beta objects have used. He has standard Goomba animations, but nothing about getting hit by a spin attack. So yeah. Any ideas on what Tetu in his name means?
