I found a great bunch of custom blocks I can use for my NSMB hack, but on the image, it states "Ripped and/or custom made by {username}. Don't use without permission or claim as your own."

I went everywhere on the site I found them, and I mean EVERYWHERE. I couldn't find any contact information for the person in question, so that I could ask permission to use them. Therefore, my solution is to use the blocks I need, and credit the person in a description of sorts (or in-game end-credits, if we ever reach that point) for the blocks I used.

What do you guys think I should do?

Credit them. If they aren't giving you contact details and you need the blocks, use them then credit them.

Perhaps you could link to the graphic so we could help you?

Anyway, I think you should go ahead and use them, and in the credits for your hack (at least on the forum), say "Thanks to whoever made these graphics(or tileset or something), I could not find your name to mention you, but I still say 'Thanks.'"
