Moving? Ahh, that really sucks. I really hate moving... The only thing is you get to nestle into a new space, one you've not grown accustomed to yet. It's quite nice for a change every once-in-a-while.

Good luck with that.

I just moved from Detroit to Seattle about a month ago, but I was very glad to get out of Detroit

Still, packing is annoying. It's like, no matter how much I pack, it felt like there was always more (I got it all eventually, though).

"I hate moving... Pack boxes, unpack boxes. It never ends."
Rover's words of wisdom, folks.

Still, a move is like a fresh start, which is pretty good.

It wasn't until I moved about 6 months ago that I really learned how much shit I had. I have a *lot* of shit. Lots of it is over at my parents' because I moved from a 2bed apartment into a single bedroom. Hardest damn move in my life.

Well when I moved I didn't take much with me.. infact, the only things I took were my laptop, iPod, and money I bought everything else down here. Made it easier to manage how much space I'd use up.

I am currently working on creating, rigging, and animating, characters from fire emblem. starting with marth. (not like it would ever happen) but I think it would be a neat concept for a wii game. Fire emblem was originally a strategy game where you controll and command your soldiers. A remake I would make would be an action RPG similar to Legend of Zelda Where you play as Marth in 3rd person with completely different plot than the original fire emblem.

*those of you who are interested in 3d modeling, should I make a thread where we can we can discuss this in detail and maybe join forces? lol*
get back to me as soon as possible

Moving sucks. I've only done it once and I hated it.

Did you know that I didn't even see the house that we were moving into until we moved here? That was an interesting day.

Teaching classes.

Then at the end of this month, I actually get to take a real vacation, in the sense that I go traveling to different places and be the tourist (but not a stupid one).

That was the case for me a lot when we moved from one state to another. Usually, one of my parents would make a trip there beforehand, but I didn't come along. So it was a surprise to me what the new place looked like and where the bathroom was and so on.

Usually if we were moving only a short distance, though, they'd show me the house before we moved into it

I'm only moving about 20 or so miles from here, unlike the original plan to move like 170 miles away to another state (New Jersey)... in fact, this will be my 4th time living in Schenectady (I previously lived there 1984~1989, 2001~2002 and for several months in 2009). =P

This Friday I am going to be leaving for a two week long trip, it's starts by my family and I driving down to Florida where we're going to get on a cruise ship for a week, once we get back we're going to go to the Universal Studios theme park for two days and then drive back home. I'm not taking my laptop on this trip and our room on the cruise ship apparently doesn't have free internet anyways so don't expect to hear much from me during those two weeks (not like it will be anything new really, my attempt to clear out my NES backlog before I leave for university is really hurting the amount of time that I spend on the computer). The only thing that I'm taking with me is my Nintendo DS flash cart, I'm going to see how many ROMS, homebrew apps, and other random things I can shove into it before I leave .

Summer Vacation (sum-err vake-aye-shinn)
(1)trip or activity usual taken in the season of summer (sum-err, see in seperate entry)
(2)time off or break taken after the school year, diminishes once you enter the real world

I've been remodeling our house after some vandals decided it'd be fun to come in and smash it up when we were out for a week. May as well improve rather than just repair, right? When I'm not doing that I'm reading, writing, and attempting to fix my lack of technical computer knowledge.

Near the end of the summer my mother and I are going to climb all 9,500 foot of Mt. McLoughlin, near where we live. Neither of us were in the best of health when we started training for it over a year ago; I was overweight, and she'd smoked for 30 years. We've both come a long way in that time. She made the climb with her sister when she was 12, it'd be nice to see if we can manage it.

I've got *checks calendar* 61 more days of that.

No we didn't, though we have susupects. I've even got a flashlight they used sitting on my shelf right now, and I'd imagine their fingerprints are all over the batteries. It happened back in late February. Bastards nabbed my N64 and all my games, though.

On a better note, I'm also ordering a few hundred vuvuzelas for the sophomore class for next year.
