I agree with Smith being awesome. However I am hoping for a solid story. The first MIB was great. The second one was iffy.

I don't know, lately I just want Smith to make a complete awesome movie. Not one that has a crappy 3rd half and ending - I Am Legend, Convulted writing - Hancock or Weird premise/nobody watches - 7 .

Man, after rewatching the movies about a month or so ago I thought they should have made more... dun dun duuuun! D:

Well, let's hope they do something good with it. Lately I have seen a lot of videos going 3D without any good reason what so ever... I guess it's an "in" thing to do right now. :/

This isn't new to the movie industry though. Rocky? Rambo? Horror films (Jason, Freddy), among a lot of other examples from the 80's and 90's.

It is more noticeable since instead of smaller films being repeated, the time for blockbusters to repeat themselves has showed up.

I think the problem is a lack of confidence in new ideas. There is a lot of venues they can explore but it is just easier to go for a 'safe' option when so many 'original ideas' have failed.
