So we all know the DS have a shit ton of RPGs for it, however, how many of them are any good? I can't say how many times I have tried a new RPG and it was horrible.

Anyhow, the thing is, my bro asked me if I could suggest any good RPGs for him. Thing is, he have played quite a few of the good ones, so if you can dig up some slightly underrated but awesome RPG, then that's kick arse!

List of things that are out:

Anything Pokemon,
Anything Final Fantasy,
Etrian odyssey, (I suggested this before, he kinda hated it)
Puzzle RPGs,
From the abyss.

I'm not quite sure what type of RPG he's into, but I know for a fact that he loved FF tactics advance, but hated the 2nd one.

Strategy RPGs he might like are;

Luminous Arc
Fire Emblem DS
Disgaea DS

In terms of action RPGs, if he hasn't played the Dragon Quest series, or the Dragon Warrior Monster series, suggest that to him.

Chrono Trigger

He lives in europe, he has no excuse.

Also you say no Pokemon, but if Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is a posibility he should. That game is beautiful.

Does he like Dragon Quest? If so, the soon (Jul. 11) to be released DQIX sounds perfect.

Seconded. I played Chrono Trigger for the first time recently ; it's an absolutely amazing game.

I don't like chrono trigger, making me have to kill lavos with magnus alone to 100% the game.

Damn developers.

TWEWY wasn't hard. Guess I'm just too good for double screen gameplay.

Also, I haven't played too much of it, but the Rune Factory series is a fantasy Harvest Moon series if you're interested. They're supposed to be good.
