While they aren't the first to do it (as I just read), Chase Bank added a feature to their iPhone app that allows you to deposit checks remotely by photographing the front and back with your phone. Thats pretty amazing!

Hopefully BoA does this too, although they do have their ATMs with instant check and cash deposits. But this would eliminate the need to drive to one, although I would need an Android app since I'll be getting an EVO soon.

Potential problems with fraudulent checks, but thats not really limited to this new feature.

Granted it is pretty cool,

but it also has the possibility of things going horrible wrong
