My family and I were talking about vacation spots recently. My in-laws are going to North Carolina to visit family, my parent's wanted to go to Hawaii but decided its out of the question (expensive) for now. We may plan a trip next spring to Orlando, FL to visit Harry Potter World. And my wife and I are saving up slowly to go to Hawaii for our 5th anniversary (in 2 years) so we can visit the rest of her family that aren't here in Las Vegas.

All that to say: What is your dream vacation spot? Where would you go if you won a $25,000 airfare and hotel spree.

Mine would be New Zealand. It's such a beautiful place. I may be a bit biased, since I love the Lord of the Rings films and the majority (aka almost all) of it was filmed there. There are actual tours that take you to all the places where they filmed the settings for Middle-Earth. Maybe one day...

Vancouver is nice, you should consider Vancouver... one of the best places in Canada to visit, imo.

If you want to leave North America, try Germany or the Czech Republic... you won't be disappointed. =D

This. Not exactly most people's idea of "OMG VACATION" but it would be a nice place to go for sure. I've also thought about Spain and the rest of western Europe in general as potential travel spots to hit up at some point in my life.

Also, I'm taking another cruise to the Bahamas this weekend. No major touristey excursions planned as far as I know, just general sightseeing and having a good time.

I'm not sure if I would want to go someplace where I would sightsee/ do things, or if I would go someplace just to relax. It would be cool to come back and say "I saw this and that and it was really cool," but at the same time, that might mean a structured travel itinerary, and everyone knows how stressful it can be to try and follow one of those. So, maybe just a relaxing, fun time would be a better option.

I might want to go to Hawaii. Or go back to Japan. It was really fun the first time, and I'm sure (even if I went to all the same places again) it would be really fun.

We never got a chance to go to the Noboribetsu hot spring spas (school trip, only stopped for lunch and to sightsee). I would really like to go there one day

Plans for me include going to see a comedian down in manchester on 17th of July, and visiting my uncle at my birth-place for a week on my birthday (1st of august to the 8th I guess) might be longer though since college doesn't go back until September.

I'm not one for visiting abroad countries, takes me well out of my comfort zone since I don't know the things around there, but I guess that's just an autistic trait of mine

Its only a 16 hour flight from Las Vegas! 6 less hours of insanity. Not cheap though, over $1,000 round trip per person. So yeah, definitely a dream vacation spot.
