Article here, more interesting is that George W. Bush has now hit rock bottom (at least on this list) in various attributes. As I recall, he claimed history would exonerate him.

Note that I'm not trying to be so much partisan as I am pointing out that history professors seem to consider him pretty low on the list. Other polls will be released which will, probably, not have him so low, but I find it intriguing how fast he hit bottom.

Year and a half out of office, really historical stuff...

Honestly, there have been worse Presidents. I think that comparing modern day Presidents to older generations is not really plausible. The world has changed in the past 20 years, let alone 200. So has the role of the Presidency. And even President Obama's approval rating is slipping, showing that guess what, he's not perfect either! *shock*

And who else gave us Bush-isms? No other President can claim that!

I honestly think Obama is one of the worst presidents yet There was a youtube video of a comedian acting as Obama that pretty much summed up exactly why he was slipping in popularity and why his first year was such a disaster.

Most of the other candidates in the 2008 election sucked anyway, so Obama or Nader would've been best anyway. McCain (more like McSame) was basically a third term for George W. Bush, and Bob Barr was a Republican-turned-Libertarian. =/

I wanted Mike Gravel to be the Democratic nominee, but with only $100 on hand and having to take the bus to the convention... ...yeah... that wasn't gonna happen.

It amuses me when people point to Obama's approval rating 'slipping' (do note that it is still net positive by most accounts, even by +1-5%) and claim that it is obviously "terrible".

Yeah, that 52% approval really sucks in comparison to ones like Bush Jr's (who scores a very impressive 28% on average, or a net score of about -40%)

math is hard guies

Really? You honestly think in the year and a half Barack Obama has been president of the United States of America that he has earned a title as 'one of the worst'? Even worse than John Tyler and Franklin Pierce?

For what it's worth, Nixon has a pretty undeserved pitiful legacy and Bush's is rightfully deserved if only because he let Cheney walk all over him.

Peace out.
