I love electronic music (mostly techno and dance/euro dance) and I have quite a collection of techno/dance music from the Eastern European countries where it's most popular. Yet, I've had immense difficulty in finding techno/dance songs whose lyrics are in Spanish. I've only found a few where the lyrics are almost completely meaningless (title is just one word and the lyrics are basically just that word repeated a lot of times)

I have techno/dance songs in English, French, Italian, Swedish, Romanian, Finnish, and Russian yet I cannot find many in my first language, Spanish D:

After a lot of searching around I've managed to find an artist that released a total of two songs in Spanish, but hey at least I found something!

Por Qué No?
Qué es la vida?

Can anyone help me find something? Most replies in existing Yahoo!/Wiki Answers are to singers that really just sing pop or reggaeton, that's NOT what I'm looking for D:

The only person that comes to mind, and this may be a stretch since I don't follow this genre of music, is Gustavo Cerati.

That is the extent pf my knowledge. I know he has some songs that are electronic/techno in style but I wouldn't be able to tell you what the album or songs are since it was a mix I got several years ago (don't have it anymore).

The name however always stuck with me. I did find this on wiki about Gustavo:

Makina is a genre you need to look up.

It's spanish hardcore techno.

Having lived in Mexico and Puerto Rico, I can say it doesn't exist as we know it in the US. But they have some songs that have a semi-techno beat and some funky vocals. I guess all spanish songs have funky vocals to us But it does exist, just different than ours.

Welcome to techno. What else were you expecting?

Well, if I'm looking for songs in Spanish, it's clear I'm looking for songs that actually have lyrics and I've found plenty in other languages. Yes, I know techno songs usually have very few lyrics and often repeat the same thing, what I meant by that is that the songs virtually have no lyrics at all. If you look at the examples I posted (which are probably more dance/techno mixed) they do have some lyrics, not a lot, but at least they have something.

What I'm looking for is something close to Basshunter. Which now that I think of it, it's more dancesque. :/

Yeah I know, I suck at telling apart music genres D:
