I used to go to arcades when my parents took me to Vegas a few times. Problem was, the ones in the hotels didn't open until 10:00, which was like 1:00 to me living in Eastern Time then. The casinos were open 24 hours a day though.

I never gambled in Vegas (we last went in 2000, when I was 12), but I have gambled in Michigan and Ontario. It can be fun, but I usually bet the minimum and don't go for long or very often
