ok, I may have found something useful. You can create a custom wii channel out of a homebrew app using WAD manager, providing a DOL/ELF file and a logo image, these things can be found unziping a homebrew app, I am not sure how you would go about making ROM/SAVE directory. If anyone has more knowledge on this subject, or any software that does this, please tell me. Im trying to turn my homebrew apps into channels stored on my wii rather than loading them off of my sd via homebrew.

Am I the only one who sees no need for any sports accessories at all?

Well, I suppose the steering wheel ones are ok.

I didn't mean to imply that any were actually useful, but this one looks cool. I tried using a golf one and it just got in the way.

Reel Fishing Challenge II (Natsume, WiiWare, 500)
Lead the Meerkats (Lapland Studio, WiiWare, 1000)
Zoo Disc Golf (Sonalysts, WiiWare, 1000)

...ewwwwww. Not promising.

There's going to be a *lot* of casual players sinking $10 on a certain WiiWare title today...

Bejeweled 2 (PopCap Games, WiiWare, 1000)
Arcade Sports (Icon Games, WiiWare, 800)
Yard Sale Hidden Treasures: Sunnyville (Konami, WiiWare, 500)
Shadow of the Ninja (Natsume, NES, 500)

Another Wii accessory. This one also looks pretty cool, besides looking uncomfortable.

That one just looks silly, not to mention it's bad to sit in the same pose all the time while gaming.

Also, still no blaster master wiiware. I feel so special living in Europe and taking it in the ass from nintendo and the rest of the video game world!

If I wanted to install a backup launcher (for Wii and GC games) in my Wii I would need to:
1. Install cIOS
2. Install cMIOS
3. Install backup launcher like NeoGamma...
4. Put in DVD with Wii/Gamecube game
5. Play?

I'm still considering this, now that I've moved out and paying rent I cannot pay for games until I at least find a job but I don't wanna brick my Wii either as I would NOT be able to buy a new one for who knows how long. D:

I don't have anything of the like, but I would suggest using a USB loader and load from a external HD; you'd use less DVDs.

Sure this guide may call you really dumb, but it's the best guide I've seen on the matter.

I followed everything in this guide to teach myself everything I needed to know about modding my wii to the point where I can run games from a USB loader, or backup launcher if preferred. If you read everything carefully, its next to impossible to brick your wii, and even if you do, you will know how to easily recover from it (unless you try to uninstal a system IOS, NEVER do that!) Have fun. Ann I must say, USB loader + external harddrive = VERY NICE! Too bad you can't run gamecube games that way though. For those you'll need a backup launcher.

SYSTEM MENU 4.3
DO NOT UPDATE.

4.3 is a pure homebrew kill attempt by Nintendo and as of now there aren't any workarounds. Wait a few days for the workarounds to be released if you feel you absolutely need to update it for some reason.

I'm going to update it to see if it will fix the weird graphical problem that 4.2 caused me. If not, I can complain and hope they replace it for free.

Does Nintendo ever actually make worthwhile updates now or just more homebrew killers?

Changes:
* Deletes the Homebrew Channel and DVDX, title IDs HAXX, DVDX, JODI, DISC, and DISK.
* Now uses IOS80.
* IOS254 stubbed BootMii is deleted.
* Fixed Bannerbomb less stupidly this time.
* Added IOS58.
* HackMii Installer Userland+Syscall IOS exploit removed
* NANDFS privilege escalation fixed
* ES_AddTitleFinish now checks the signature (Trucha Bug Restorer and similar won't work anymore)
