I've finished MM1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10. 3 was too difficult, I couldn't beat the final boss on 7 and I reached the end of 8 but stopped playing for some reason...

I really need to go back and finish them.

I preferred Mega Man 7, probably because that was the one I played the most. I liked the Mega Man X games, too. Not enough to post each bosses strategies randomly...

And yes I want people to play this game that badly.

I never really played classic megaman until about a year or two when I just played through some of them... There's also how I actuallly got into the X series before classic so yeah.

Megaman is one of those NES series where you jump on something, something else knocks you off, and you either start from the very beginning or one checkpoint in the middle of the stage. See also: Ninja Gaiden and birds, Castlevania and bats/medusa heads.

So yeah, calling it difficult isn't a stretch by any means. After all, there's an original song all about a person struggling with Air Man in Rockman 2. He wants to get through Heat Man's stage, but he's no good at the dissappearing/reappearing platforms, so he fights Air Man to get the rocket sled. He can't beat Air Man though because he's too hard. Air Man is weak to Wood Man's weapon, so the guy fights Woodman. Woodman is also too hard.

Air Man - too hard to beat without Wood Man
Wood Man - too hard to beat without Heat Man
Heat Man - needs the rocket sled (Item-2) from beating Air Man

I have both of those on Gamecube, but I also still have a cart of Mega Man 2 for my NES. That one you just have to have in your physical collection.

(I gotta get Metroid again... )

I have a PS3 Slim Can't play PS2 games anymore. I'm sure theres a digital copy of one of the Mega Man games on PSN, but I haven't looked.

That's not right... Most used game shops sell Metroid at about 15 dollars, which is three times what you'd pay for it on Virtual console, but still worth it I think.
