	Had Acmlm board never been created... I would probably not have founded FFAlexandria.com or done that much web design in general. I wouldn't have learned all the HTML, PHP, mySQL, CSS, etc that got me interested in web design. Instead, I would have become a delivery boy for a local pizza place. Making deliveries on my bicycle... that had a pink basket since it was the only one I could find for less than five bucks at a garage sale. Working my way up, I become a "Pizza Technician" with my own store-made diploma and eventually save enough money to buy a beat up Ford Pinto that has 2 holes in the floor and a busted window covered with duct-tape and a trash bag. From there I would have moved on to being a bus boy for some other restaurant and work my way up to being a dish washer. Who knows what after that... (no offense to anyone who might work in these position. I love pizza and appreciate the people who make it) In all reality, I haven't the slightest clue. I probably would have been more active at some other forum or Final Fantasy website. ____________________

Well, if Ace would have answered my question back when it came down to Strange Mario Bros. I guess I would've moved on at some point and figured out other things. Still had people that I talked to in real life that I knew and I had plenty of people on AIM and a couple boards/site that I frequented back in '02. Pretty sure something would have piqued my interest at some point.

Negating the hours plugged into this board would have likely been hours plugged into real life and on a secondary priority, gaming. Zbattle, back in the day, would have probably consumed me the most. Especially with the prospect of people being really effing good at stuff there.

Outside of that, not really sure. The day I registered was the day before my parents split. Maybe I would've done something completely off-the-wall? I doubt it, but it's an interesting theory I suppose.

Overall, I don't think I'd have too many differences. Just the people that I know and would have made friends with would have changed online. The amount would be different, the overall people would be different, stuff like that. I suppose any big part in life has the same outcomes, honestly. Anything that branches your time with other people over a long span of time will do that. Would I have more/better people to talk to, make friends with? Can't say. I have aspects on both positive and negatives for what I have so far here. I doubt they'd be any different if another path was taken.

I'd have found bcmlm or other suspiciously similar place.

I mean, I found this by myself, if I didn't get here I'd have still searched until eventually finding a somewhat stable forum about messing around with games or something with actually nice people...
On the other hand who knows what'd have happened there. Maybe it'd be in japanese so I'd actually learn it, or maybe it has a critical existence failure and I never find anywhere on the net to actually feel like home.

And I guess that's kinda the point of the thread. If I had never found a place I could consider home... probably I'd be a worse hikkikomori and everything would have gone downhill very fast from there.

Well, as Jul is not my primary place, I would remain mostly the same.

However I would have no message board and my PHP coding would not have benefitted from reverse-engineering Acmlmboard code. Also I would not have the Computer Scientist cred that comes from being related to a board about hacking a 3D game.

I would have probably found somewhere else to hang out. I may even have wound up at Sonic Stadium instead.
