It's cool.

What's not cool is when my mom drove me home from school, and just after we went out of the parking lot the tornado alarm sounded off. Mom just kept driving, as though totally oblivious to the dark clouds and wind, while I was all "SHIT SHIT SHIT WE'RE GONNA DIE SHIT SHIT". Turns out a funnel cloud formed over 87th and Cicero, which is pretty damn close to where I live.

I wished I could kill her and get away with it after her having me go through another storm-related near panic attack in the car the other day, with dark clouds, very high winds, very heavy rain, and some lightning.

Dammit, mom, I have fears and shit. Don't just handwave them!

	I've been through a few tornado warnings and close calls when we lived in Oklahoma. The closest one ever got to our house was about 40 miles though. Still scary. ____________________

Yea, it's been generally active in The Alley this year. I've heard more shit about that and deadly hail than I have about anything hurricanes this year.
