I keep hitting Scroll Lock. It's right above my Backspace. I'll try and undo typing and all I'll get is an LED flashing at me.

I had Caps Lock disabled for a while. Even if I'm typing in all capital letters, I just use a Shift key anyway.

Whoa! When I went to bed I was right after Anya. But I can't expect Jul to stop working because I go to bed

As for CAPITALIZING, I always use shift. Caps Lock is annoying.
The only times I use Caps Lock is when I have to enter a CD Key.

Wow, I think that was the first day I didn't post all month. Went to the early church service, so didn't have time before. Then we went to a buffet for lunch with my parents and my in-laws for father's day. Then we had to do some grocery shopping, and when we got home they wanted to play poker (which is a 5 hour event for us).

Gotta pick things up today.

Yeah, occasionally I'd use Caps Lock if I have to enter a lot of uppercase letters with a lot of intermixed numbers or unshifted symbols. Seriously, if CD keys are case-insensitive, they should allow either case and use something like C's toupper/strupr before comparing them.

My wife and her sister both learned to type using caps-lock for capital letters. So instead of just holding shift + the letter, she hits caps-lock, hits the letter, then hits caps-lock again... It is funny to watch

Our old Sharp Wizard (PDA before on-screen keyboards were common) had a SHIFT key, but it was more like a Control key to access special functions. The only way to change the case of letters was with a CAPS key, which worked like Caps Lock.

Speaking of which, why do handheld devices (not game systems) never seem to make you push 2 buttons at once? Like calculators always have you press and release Shift/2nd, then press and release the other key afterward, unlike with computers.

People always chat in IRC. I've found there is little correlation between IRC activity and board activity (other than people bitching about the latter if it exceeds a certain point in either direction)
