The posting fever comes and goes, usually a 24-48 hour prognosis. Some days I'll be doing something and the fever ebbs. Other days, it seems like you just gotta post.
I'm just kicking myself because I'm going to miss it.
Usually I'm off on Fridays.

Sleep for 12 hours straight, you feel so refreshed. I did that last year one time. I literally went to bed at 6pm and didn't wake up until 6am. I had so much energy that day. And lucky for me it was the day we were moving buildings at work (we have 3 here) so was able to really work hard that day.

If I slept for 12 hours, I would wake up feeling guilty.

I would be incredibly pissed off if I slept in too late as a kid. I was wasting valuable weekend hours in which I could get in some perfectly nice goofing off

SERIOUSLY.
If you do it from exhaustion, you wake up refreshed. And you have to start it early in the evening, not just sleep really late in the day. Most people wake up feeling tired because our bodies were designed to get up with the sun.

It doesn't seem like it for me either. But if you get the proper amount of sleep (8+ hours) and get up at sunrise or not long thereafter, you feel much more energized for the day.
But with late schedules and 24 hour cities, it just isn't the case for everybody nowadays.
