	Yeah, I thought it was just the blooper from Mario when I first came here. And then I thought his eyes were dead pixels or something on my screen because the post layout was the same color. All I could see was the 2 black spots. Itried to scrape it off first, then scrolled and /sighed with relief that it wasn't dead pixels. ____________________

Never played Cave Story. Thought it was Mario related. Gotten used to it but it took some time. Don't know why but at times I try to grab the squid and move him around.

I always thought it was a Blooper. Later I learned he was called Ikachan, but I didn't know it was a game character actually named Ikachan (I thought he was just a generic game character)

Even later, I found out about the Ikachan game (and that he was from Cave Story).

Exactly this. My monitor doesn't do well with whites/blacks... The "near white" Ikachan often blends in with some lighter stuff.

CSS z-index property which specifies the placement of an element in a stack via integer. Works only on elements that have been positioned with the position property.

Ikachan also goes underneath my layout, which uses translucent pngs and rgba selectors ... so you can at least still see him. Even when he is both under the quote box and the main message.

I always wondered why Ikachan here already has the helmet. He doesn't start out with the helmet in the game.

He was wearing a Santa hat for a while, too.

I don't know much about HTML and CSS, only the basics, because I learned it back in the early 2000s when most Web sites looked a lot simpler.
