Only 72°F here, but I can live with that... but it sure felt nice today on the way home. =D

It's 61°F here, with a high today of 66°F. I love Seattle

Temps in the 90s are nasty. I'd get cooked in Detroit summers, and my bank account would suffer under the strain of high air-conditioning bills.

Which is why I would love to move in to a small 2 bedroom apartment or condo. My brother lived in a 1 bedroom condo, which was about as big as our current bedroom, and only paid around $60 month for electricity. And his place was always freezing (he liked it cold, like me).

I used to live in a 1-bedroom with my dad, then he moved out and I lived there alone. The electricity bills often approached $100 in the summer.

On the other hand, that place had free heat, for those incredibly cold Detroit winters.

Now I live in a studio with no AC, but Seattle doesn't get very hot. The ceiling fan and window usually work nicely to cool the place down

It sucks that the nights are getting so hot now, our A/C stays on most of the night even set at 76. Its a single unit wall one and our room is a decent size, but even the ceiling fan doesn't help. Electric bill is gonna suck.

It's 86 at night right now. It's only June. Not looking forward to August. Mainly because of the humidity.

It's been about 18-25°C (64-77°F) here for basically the past several days and nights, hitting 30 at times. We're all used to rarely seeing above 20 (nights can get down to 6 or 7 even during summer), so this is unusually hot this far North. Beautiful days, but makes sleeping a bit difficult.

Of course, give it a few months and we'll be looking at high of -20, low of -40. All balances out.

I've experienced 45°C (about what Xk was describing in the first post) and yeah, not fun. Ontario must have some of the most extreme temperature ranges ever, as it's the same place I got to experience -57. Yech. To compare, Mars averages around -63, the coldest ever seen on Earth is -89.2, and the hottest, 58.

I just wish it'd rain nice and heavily during the night. Great for sleeping, and would bring the temperature back down a bit. There's a storm predicted for Monday, but they've been predicting them for a week now.

We get simmilar weather up here. Hot and humid, which don't go well together.

Yesterday was 95°F, with rain popping up everywhere. Best part is, I had to cut grass yesterday afternoon.

Mornings have been great the past few days, and will be for the next week. We're supposed to stay in the double digits only! Thats pretty amazing for June, considering this is typically a month of triple digits.

98 today, 96 for the next 2 days, then down some more for a day or 2. Looks to be a decent weekend.

Was driving back from work and getting stuffs for eats yesterday and around 5:30 PM one of the billboards was showing 99F on them that took the temperature (and this one was built in the last two months, so I figure it's pretty accurate).

Of course, with the heat index, it probably felt like 110. Inside my car when I first got in after work the temperature gauge showed 122F internal and it felt like a damned sauna. Forgot to crank my windows.

At 11am:

89°?!

ITS FUCKING HOT

I'll be in the fridge.

I also hear thunder and there's a storm cloud when I look outside. Might have to call for a ride to work. Unless it passes.

High for today is 71°F. It's actually sunny out, which has been unusual here (although I prefer cloudy days, actually).

What's with the heat? Seems like you're all having the hottest summer of all.
Too bad you can't share that heat. Me myself could use some
All rainy and cloudy here.

You got a point. That's the only kind of days you have a real excuse for sitting in front of the computer.
