Well, not required. But certainly play much better.

(my opinion, I guess)

Agreed. Playing games like Super Smash Bothers or other fast paced games with the Wii-mote turned sideways can do a number on your fingers. Its not the most comfortable controller in the world. And for NSMB, holding down 1 button to run and trying to control the other can give you blisters. Or maybe thats just me...

Pelca and many other competitive Brawl players play and rape tournaments with Wiichuck.

'nuff said.

For some games, the nunchuck is useful. I like it with the bow and arrow applications, such as Wii Sports Resorts. Nintendo needs to come out with their own wireless version, though.

I already go through enough batteries, personally. It's not like you ever need to have the nunchuck far apart from the wiimote anyways.

I'm kind of surprised Nintendo hasn't come out with a rechargable Wiimote system yet, given, you know, every single other console does it right.

I'd worry about wireless Nunchuks causing (very marginal) increases in latency in response time, as well as the potential for missed signals.

Besides, it wouldn't be a nunchuk anymore.

There's already hundreds of 3rd party ones.

And yeah, 3DS looks exciting. I wonder how much it will cost.

two arms, a leg, and an ear, please.

This is the first I'm hearing about Patapon 3. Neat. But I haven't even played the second installment yet.

Blast processing isn't even a real thing, it was just a fancy name they gave to the act of buffering data

Super Scribblenauts has netted a in my book, because one of the allowed adjectives is "gentlemanly" and gives whatever you create a top hat and monocle.

The point is Nintendo should have done it from the start. There's no reason you have to put in new batteries. They could have done a replaceable pack but still include a default way to charge it. Now, they just need to make a Nintendo brand battery pack and charger, bundle it with new Wiis, and make more money.
