I have a feeling this will follow the Alvin and the Chipmunks mold of tired cliched jokes and stupid dance numbers. God forbid if they actually try something else.

I'm waiting for a trailer that does not yell out "IN THREE DEEE" and shoves a big "in 3D" logo in your face. So far the only film IN THREE DEE that I have watched that used it for something worthwhile was avatar. The others have just used it for misc stuff that really did not make the experience any better.

All of these other 3D ones are filmed conventionally and remastered as 3D which can work if done correctly, but still not as good. 3D animated movies are ok because they can be rendered in 3D from the start. But I doubt this is being filmed in 3D from the sheer cost. ____________________
