Failure and Grey are not suppose to go together. This is a sad day indeed.

This thread has made me play several games of Solitaire myself. Very fun, especially with infinite undo A cheap way to play, I know, but it's more fun (and less frustrating) for me when I can win with determination

I'm not too good at Solitaire myself. I'm a lot better with "Draw One" set and infinite deals

I'm better at FreeCell, but even then, I tend to use Undo a lot.

Several games are outright impossible, mind. In fact, you usually have a 45-50% chance of winning any given game in one-card, infinite-loop gameplay (i.e. no limits on going through the stack).

If you're playing like Grey is (3 card 3 loop), the odds are, more or less, shit (1 in 12).

Yep, that's why I got frustrated with Solitaire.

Almost all FreeCell games are winnable, but some are impossible with the standard 4 free cells. The most notorious of these is Microsoft Game #11982.

I don't think I even have Solitaire or FreeCell on here, unfortunately... or at least I can't seem to find it. =/

They come with Windows, under "Games" Are you on another OS?

Fun fact: My dad used to put most game shortcuts in Games when installing them. I always thought it was dumb that almost all games install their shortcuts in their own group/menu based on the game name or company name.

#54
I remember my father used to play Freecell fairly often (doing them in order, at least 11982 is far enough away ), but I rarely did except when I'm really bored ...

But I once did silly things like switching card images around randomly (in cards.dll):

It's pretty much unplayable if you don't remember which card is really which

It would make a fun practical joke on someone who loves to play Solitaire, though.

Nope, apparently it's not there, unless it's not installed by default on Windows 7 Professional...
