So I was about to go outside when I noticed a wasp on the door frame. I decide that it should die before it gets a chance to sting me. Can't find any bug killer stuff, so I go to the bathroom to look for hairspray or something that would reduce its mobility (so I could then crush it). Can't find any of that, but I do find a bottle of lens cleaner. So, since beggars can't be choosers, I take what I've found and go to take care of the wasp.
I spray it once, and it kinda gets knocked back a little from the spray. I go to do it a second time, but the wasp promptly falls to the ground. It looked like it was going to get up again, so I sprayed it a few more times.
That wasp is now dead. It took lens cleaner and a few seconds to kill it.
There is no ingredients list on the bottle. All I see is "Caution: Do not ingest. Contains Isopropanol. Keep out of reach of children"
Guess it must have been the isopropanol... And all I expected it to do was make it so the wasp couldn't fly...
Actually, now that you mention it, there's been a grasshopper jumping around in the computer room that we've been pushing around all day. Haven't killed it...just bumping it around every time we see it.

That's why initially (after I couldn't locate bug killer), I looked for hairspray. I'm kinda scared of lens cleaner now. Isopropanol looks pretty nasty if it's ingested. I assume the wasp tried to clean the stuff off of itself and ended up dying because of it.

Yeah, besides being drowned the Isopropanol probably did it in.
There was a spider in our shower about 2 weeks ago... so as with the centipede that was in our house, I burned that bastard! It shriveled and then was washed down the drain. My wife wouldn't take a shower in there for a few days.

Seriously. I have a big feer of bees and wasps. But punching them is not only hilarious, but fun to do.
About a week ago a wasp stung me on my foot while I was sleeping. While he was on my foot I grabbed his head, stuck him in the microwave, hit 5:00, hit start, and went into the bathroom to pull the stinger out. By the time I heard the ding, the stinger was out and I was not infected.
I hate bugs and all things of that sort. Seen two centipedes in this house. First time I just used an entire can of Raid and it did jack. Got so freaked out I just ran and got a machete and hacked at it like a crazy person.
Just thinking about it gives me the creeps.
