Only one remake during the main show, one point five depending on your taste in the mario sports games.

OoT ans SF64 on the other hand look very updated.

I stand corrected.

Either way, they're still the same titles, so... eh.

I tend to put ports and remakes on the same level.

Aside from a few exceptions, it's still not a new game, even if it is updated.

EDIT: Wait, what the fuck did I just say? Ports and remakes?

Still, if you want to split hair, SFIV and Snake Eater aren't Nintendo making remakes. As far as first party goes it looks like just OoT and SF64 (unless Goldeneye is as well, since obviously Rare is owned by MS now)

I'm just hoping DKCR is up to the par of the SNES games. Donkey Kong deserves a non-gimmick game for the first time since the SNES. :|

Alright 3DS looks fucking epic. Just one thing.

NINTENDO

DON'T FUCK UP MARIO KART AGAIN

TAKE THE N64 VERSION AND SPRUCE IT UP A LITTLE. ITEMS AND TRACK STYLES FROM THE GC VERSION, MORE CHARACTERS, HIGHER FRAME RATE, LARGER TEXTURES. NONE OF THE PHYSICS/GAMEPLAY CHANGES THAT HAVE MADE NEW VERSIONS SUCK.

Whomever decided you should lose items by falling off/getting hit/wiping out/sneezing needs to be fucking CANNED. LITERALLY. Then the guys who did the physics and made the AI such COMPLETE FUCKING JERKS WHO TRY TO FUCK YOU AT EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY and who made them actually get and use items the same as human players (good in theory, utterly fails in practice) all need a lashing or two.

N64 version was almost perfect, but the tracks weren't interesting enough. (Don't blame the hardware, it could - and DID - pull 10 times what you did if you weren't such fucking WIMPS writing the graphics code.) GC version was almost perfect, but got annoying when the jerkass AI would all deliberately ram you off the track at the last bridge and you'd lose the item that could have given you some hope of recovering - or you'd pass an item box in second and just get ANOTHER FUCKING BANANA. Both also needed more levels and a Quick Run mode (see the GBA version). DS and Wii versions were so FUCKING ANNOYING I didn't even bother to finish them.

GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME.

As for Zelda, WW-style graphics on a more powerful system is interesting, but please don't bring back the WW-style level design. That game just pissed me off, nice as the graphics were in motion.

Oh and for the love of God drop the goddamn health alarms already kthx.

OK, that footage looked pretty amazing. However, it is raising my doubts on my computer's ability to run Portal 2.

All I gotta say is: FUCK YEAH! Release date for Gran Turismo 5 and confirmation the 2010 Camaro will be in it. I'm a happy camper. Gotta save up for the $250 steering wheel and pedals I want for the PS3.

The only thing that could make this day better is if Reggie stages a last minute press conference in a darkened room.

*silence with the quiet mutterings of gaming journalists*

*DOOM*

*Reggie steps out*

"Super Smash Bros. 3DS."

*Reggie walks away*

Less Paratroopa, more...say, Koopa Kids or even someone like Chargin' Chuck who hasn't SEEN screen time since Yoshi's Safari. Not that he should be playable (although I guess that'd be pretty cool), but at least in it or something. I'm not concerned though. Never played Mario Kart Wii but I enjoyed all the other games up to it enough that I'd at least give this an honest try.

I don't know if anyone caught this, but nintendo's e3 site confirms that Goldeneye will have Classic Controller (Pro) support.

Epic Mickey only on Wii = fail. Might give it a rental, evtually. Once I plug my Wii back in that is.

3DS looks neat.

The Stig in GT5 is freaking awesome as well as SWTOR.
