Yep. Was getting my stuff together to head to work. I'd left the sliding glass door open since I'd been throwing my dog's ball for here. She's a little Cocker Spaniel. Anyways I hear her growl, then start to bark and run out the door. I come out, stick my head out the door to see what she's barking at.

I am at the sliding glass door. 4-5 meters ahead is the dog. 5 meters from her is a goddamn black bear, at which she is incessantly barking. The bear's looking at here with almost a bemused expression (or at least, it seemed like it), not really moving but not really paying much attention to her. So, at this point I start yelling at the dog to stop barking and get inside, eventually having to yell so hard it echoes before the dog starts listening to me and comes in. As soon as the dog is inside, I close the sliding door and lock it, and look out at the bear.

The bear, having not moved at all, looks at me and my dog, shakes its head, turns around, and walks away.

tl;dr I got closer to a bear than I ever really expected to.
