Why does my wireless internet decide to slow down for a day or two at a time? What a pain.

Every once in a while, my router goes out during a thunderstorm, but usually unplugging and replugging after 60 seconds works. =P

My router likes to just slow to a crawl or lose connection until it's rebooted. It's even reset itself to factory settings for no apparent reason a couple times. Routers seem to have this tendency to suck.

I would like to second this a thousand times.

Routers is the only computer equipment that almost always refuses to work for me. I have started to get a strong dislike for them.

AFAIK, my router doesn't have a power switch or reset switch... damn Netgear for making me have to unplug and replug it =/

Same goes for Linksys and Trendnet (the 2 brands I've owned). There is a reset pin-hole on the Linksys but its easier just to unplug rather than finding something to fit the pin-hole.

The pin-hole is also often a factory reset, not just a power cycle.
