	Yes! Let's immediately abandon a system in which we pours possibly billions of dollars in to, because it's not winning the console wars! There's absolutely no point in even trying to fix our problems at all, since that would be what a person who wanted to make money would do! What a great plan. There's definitely no point in trying to make people aware of what we believe is a decent to good game that has been critically bashed as bad. No reason at all to try to clear up confusion or issues, even after a patch that we believe fixes many of the problems! Nope! I'm sorry. As much as I agree that this is ridiculous as hell (and is pretty sleazy, I must admit), the PS3 is NOT dead and there's no point in bashing them for at least trying. Uh, this isn't trying to fix anything, basically saying "The game doesn't suck, you do."

I think the whole point is that it's sleazy -- Sony has a rather bad reputation for not actually fixing anything and just using the end user as a scapegoat ("Nobody knows what a rootkit is, so why worry" ring any bells?)

I'm not involved in the "next gen" wars at all (minus having a Wii I don't play for a variety of reasons), so it doesn't bother me either way... but no matter how you look at it, this is just another excuse.

There was a patch actually. "1.92". Apparently it is supposed to make the controls in Lair better. If this wasn't fixed ahead of time and such, then the reviews should stand and the original game unmodified is a bad game. But, Sony wants everyone to rereview with a book with tips on how to play and review the game, and they want everyone to account the new patch. That is bad and you cannot deny it. Sony may be losing the console war, and they aren't doing a good job of fixing it (Even Heavenly Sword is getting mixed reviews). Hiryuu, I would like some sources on the "making money" statement, because from what I read on Joystiq not long ago, Sony is still in debt for the original 7 Core Processor that was eventually reduced down to something nowhere near strong nor conventional. This has been said countless times, they have not made any money back for their original "oops" and the high price of the PS3 is to help cover it. They aren't making money they are paying off debt. I'm going to now say I am not playing fanboy, I like 360/Wii, and I do like the remote control function of the PS3 <-> PSP (Video from PS3 sent to PSP, PSP control sent to PS3). ____________________ I made this layout first, BELIEVE IT!

It's a PS3 firmware patch, and I don't think it's been revealed to improve Lair controls definitively or not.

I rented it. No amount of patching -- In fact, it was a waste of room in my PS3's Hard drive. Only thing that will matter is Oblivion Game of the Year, Ratchet and Clank, and MGS4.
