Also, iOS 4 free update to iPhone 3GS, 3G, and iPod touch users but not 1st gen (like me).

And AT&T still?

Well, that's a real kick in the balls.

No kidding, especially with the new data plans. This is definitely another notch on my EVO 4G tab, Sprint having unlimited plans still available.

Over 500 wifi signals going out, of coarse thats going to cause some issues. Even if he used a dedicated one, there was so much interference.

Here's a good comparison for those on the fence, like me. I'm just about decided to go with the EVO 4G since the iPhone 4 only does video calls on wifi, no HDMI out, and no wifi hot spots. It is a great phone and has a higher resolution and more apps, but I'm really excited about Android 2.2 with the built in wifi hot spots. Plus I want to make video calls to my wife but don't have wifi here, so only the EVO 4G can do it. They may add other apps such as Skype down the road that can do video calls over 3g though. I can't buy the EVO 4G for at least another 3-4 weeks, so I've got time to try an iPhone 4 in person.

Though it's not really part of WWDC, I got my wish: Safari 5 is out and comes with an extension builder framework!

The extensions run sandboxed so if you're bad at creating stable extensions, like say ... Adobe ... it won't bring the browser down with it! (Actually, Safari on Snow Leopard already ran the Flash plugin sandboxed because it was so unstable.)

It just wasn't part of the keynote is all, but it came out during the WWDC. Goes on for another day or 2.

This article seems a bit biased and misleading. They say "Apple Inc.’s iPhone is outdistancing the pack of phones that use Google Inc.’s rival software, thanks to video-calling features"

Yet the EVO 4G had it first, and does it over 3G/4G instead of just wifi.

And I like this quote "The competition is taking aim but the target keeps moving faster." Since when is the "target" the company that is playing catch up? Most of the features of the iPhone 4 have been available in other phones for a while. It's still a great phone and a step up from the 3GS, but it's not innovative or outdistanced from other phones.
