I'll be watching the live blogs tomorrow on this all day. Just thought we should have 1 thread for all the announcements. I'm looking forward to the iPhone 4, maybe some updates about the iPad or iPhone OS 4. I think if it is announced, the iPhone 4 is going to be the big gun the bring out.

What I'm hoping for is a better extension framework for Safari. I'd like to ditch poky old Firefox for something a bit snappier, but I don't want to give up my extensions.

Considering they don't even let you pick a different search provider other than Google, I can't see that being too likely.

Well what do you know, looks like they're finally deciding to let users pick their search providers. Maybe in Safari 6 you'll actually be able to choose one yourself instead of using a list!

Thats pretty big upgrade. 326 ppi, 800:1 contrast ratio (also 4x better than 3GS). I'm almost convinced to get this over an EVO, but the AT&T network is still a tough sell.

Should make for some interesting movie projects, especially in the indie scene.

Edit: They are telling everyone to stop using the Wifi so they can demo a feature that wasn't working.

Lose. Maybe they will develop the Skype app to allow it to use the front camera. But if you can't use it on 3G or the 4G networks coming around next year... major fail.

I'm still on the fence between the EVO 4G and the iPhone 4. Now that the iPhone 4 has all the same features confirmed, I find I like the app store of Apple much better. It is hard compete with 200,000+ apps. But no mobile hotspot with the iPhone 4 yet, where as the EVO 4G can do it and for free if the phone is rooted or when Android 2.2 is release. Plus I can stay on Sprint and have a bill of $75 or switch to AT&T and pay $140 or so.

Available 6/24/2010! $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB

They're allowing anyone with an upgrade date in 2010 to get the iPhone 4 when it releases.
