He likes the 'concept' of it but it wouldn't do exactly what he's looking for. Technology hasn't really advanced that far just yet.

Even then, he might get a grand total of five hours enjoyment out of it. Total. He just is one of those that aren't that interested in the video game venue and neither is my mother in that regard.

Long ago my brother beat the capcom staff record in time attack in SSFII. Ryu vs Vega or something like that...

He doesn't play games much anymore... but still crushed me in SFIV.

My other brother used to play a lot too, but now he outright doesn't at all. On the other hand, my sister probably is who plays the most out of them... though she's average in skill.

Considering they are 25-30 though, I doubt they count for this thread's point... heh.
Nobody else plays games at all, as far as I know.

My mother plays WoW, used to be my only reliable Tetris Attack opponent, and we played through Ocarina of Time together. By "together" I mostly mean "she gave me the controller for boss fights 'cause she sucked at them", but I had to clear the Water Temple for her.

She also was a big fan of the Donkey Kong Country games.

My dad can't play videogames. It is beyond his age group and generation. Technology and him don't fit.

My mom plays some games. Maybe some trauma center and tetris but nothing overly complex.

This represents my parents close to perfectly, but they told me that they always used to play the old NES they had before I was born, but then when they got kids they just stopped.

The only exception would be when my mother played some rounds of mario party 1 with me.

When I got my DSi, I gave my older sister my GBA SP along with a couple of games(Metroid Zero Mission, Metroid Fusion, Zelda LttP/FS, Minish Cap) for something to do while she was at home during her pregnancy. Well, let's just say, soon after that she asked me for my dusty GameCube and Metroid Prime along with Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Wind Waker. I felt good that I converted a non-video game player family member into one.

My younger sister and my mom play Wii Fit and Wii Sports all the time. Then my dad plays his golfing game that we got him a while back for the Wii. That's really it for the most of them.

Then I have an older brother who just sold his Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS Lite. Did I mention he didn't sell one of these to me? Stupid Black Lord.

My dad plays Caesar III a whole freaking lot. It's basically the only game he'll play other than WWII flight simulators, and he can't do that anymore until he gets a new joystick or whatever.

I think I should've never let him know about the well cheat codes, since it seems to have stunted his growth with the game. At the very least he can wage battles against Caesar's own personal army and still win.

I have seen my father play games like Yoshi's Island and quite a few platforming games on the PS2. However, when he gets to some of the harder parts that he can't pass, I end up having to do it for him (such as perhaps Extra 5).

As for my mom... she only plays Dr. Mario... starting on level 20... on low speed.

The only game I remember my parents ever playing was Diddy Kong Racing on the N64.
Mom owned dad until she told him all her secrets tricks. Then dad showed no mercy.
The conclusion? Neither of them plays anything now...

...except Wii Sports, but that doesn't count
