For me, lol has a range of anything from mildly amusing to waking up my parents in the middle of the night from laughing too loud.

It turns out that watching Jackass in the middle of the night is a good way to teach yourself to not laugh, while laughing.

	Oh yeah, since we're on the subject of LOL: My family and I were watching the movie Rat Race for the first time on pay-per-view years ago. This was before DVR, so we couldn't rewind. It got to the part where they steal the Nazi car and then crash in to the WW2 veterans thing. The guy couldn't talk from his mouth being burned and he got dark lipstick on his upper lip so he looked and sounded like Hitler. We laughed so hard at the part, we missed the entire next scene with the stripper and the price. We didn't actually find out what happened until we bought it on DVD a few months later. Oh yeah, youtube.
