So I did most of the post-120 stuff over the past few days and it is all pretty cool.

Don't stop picking up star bits, though. It's not a spoiler at all to warn you that you need 9999 in the bank for the very last thing. The game doesn't tell you, either, you just have to check the interwebs I suppose.

I... haven't collected those yet. I have 5k in the bank and I don't really want to grind it. Who knows what'll happen.

Overall the game was totally awesome, and I wish more of the secret world kept doing gravity shenanigans.

If anyone happens to know a legitimate, non-glitchy way to get

So I'm done. I would consider the last star somewhat of a worthy challenge.

I think the fastest way to get 9999 star bits is in the level made of chocolate; there's a checkpoint from which you can grab ~66 star bits and die quickly, giving you those 66 every 10 or so seconds, though it runs through lives after a while. Just be careful, because you can't actually hold more than 999 at once.

Excellent, excellent game. I really like the style of reward you get for 100%, too.

getting flipped off the tumbling cube as it lifts its back face off the ground, giving me a huge glitchy velocity that put me in multiple orbits over the whole level until luckily flinging me into the star

you might have to slow down time and hop on top of or wall jump off of a Tox Box.

I got it

I finished the game and got all the stars. The final star is the definition of difficulty but felt completely appropriate. Galaxy 2 is an amazing game and I can definitely see why everyone is giving it perfect 10s left and right. It deserves it, more than any other title I know.

Ah. That's what I tried initially but I guess I wasn't in the right spot. Getting crushed didn't help either.

I did that in SMW last night; got to the boss with 45 seconds left, ended up screwing up a few times, and killed it with 5 seconds to go.

Comets work differently in this game. There is only one type of "Prankster Comet", and they only show up on levels you've collected the Comet Medal from. What the comet does, however, is entirely dependent on the level. All of the old comet challenge types make a return, as well as a couple of new ones.
