First of all, Conte de Contis is a character of mine, a donkey lawyer who works for the justice and for the safety of everyone, but a bit cynical. If you visit my Art thread you may nocice a pic of it.
My brah told me that the name "Conte de Contis" is a bad name for a comic character. He said that:
- it's difficult to remember
- too many syllables
- too silly and not suitable for a character.
- it's difficult to spell
The problem is that this name always sounded funny to me and people never told me problems about it (maybe because they're afraid to tell, but boh?). I have an alternative name, Ray Rick, but it started to annoy me.
So, what do you think? Should i turn my name or leave it in that way? Are there too much problems for it? Don't afraid to tell me, i don't eat you.

I think its just fine. I pronounce it "Count" whenever I see your posts. Its not difficult to spell or say if you're reasonably literate... Stick with it if you like it!
It's true, the name doesn't really suit the character. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at coming up with names, so I can't help think of a better one, sorry.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ No way, Conte de Contis is an awesome name.
I assume it means "count of counts" or something like that?
Anyways, counterpoints:
- it's difficult to remember -> It is unique enough that if read twice you'll never forget about it.
- too many syllables -> Two pairs being similar and making a nice sound overall. It just rolls out easilly.
- too silly and not suitable for a character. -> There is someone called Superman. A real person.
- it's difficult to spell -> Not if you are familiar with phonetically written languages.

I couldn't have said it better myself, it's a great name!
It sounds fine to me. Reimu pretty much pinned it down, as well.
As for pronunciation, I always pronounce it "Con-teh de Con-tis". I say it the way it looks, basically.

I say it's good too. I normally say "Con-tay de Con-tis." The repetition of "Con," plus "tay" rhyming with "de," makes it flow quite nicely, in my opinion

Well, i'll think about it.
Actually, the name is "Conte", given by her mistress, and the surname is "de Contis", same as her.
Usually he gets called CdeC, especially by his best buddy Dinomar.

I like the name 'Conte de Contis' and I pronounce it as if it were Spanish/Italian. I don't think it's hard to remember at all.
