What is Gantz?
Gantz is a series created by Hiroya Oku. It involves two people, Kurono, and Kato getting involved with a drunken bum slipping onto train tracks. After saving him, the train comes, and runs over them both. After this, they are next shown to be inside "The room" where they have strict orders from a s00per 1337 t@1king BaL1 to kill a boss.

Well, kinda. It shows words based on 1337. No one knows why.

Why do they have to kill this 'boss'?
Because they died. Well, allow me to go deeper on this. In two directions, because honestly, the Manga is better than the anime.

In the anime. When you kill a boss, you get points. Once you save up 100 points, you are free to go. You never died, and you have your memory erased from the game. Also, when you do kill a boss, and you don't have enough points you must never speak about the game. You are free to walk around until Gantz summons you again. And thus, you must play the game again.

In the Manga, it get's way deeper. Which is why I highly recommend this right now: Watch the anime first. Then the manga!

Anyways, say you get 100 points. In the anime, you only had that one gift. In the manga, you can revive another person who has died from the game, or become more powerful (Stronger gun, better suit, a sword, etc).

Why should I watch / read the manga?

Because it's pretty damn good. It has blood, violence, sex, and more. Plus it has a very deep story to it. And it's also funny checking out people who died and getting this "WHAT THE FUCK" look on their face by playing the game for the first time.

How is the Manga better than the anime?
The manga is so much fucking better than the anime. The anime is -I think- 30 episodes long. From the Manga's point of view, that is about chapter 80. There are 300 chapters in the manga. Which also included the two additional prizes. So eventually you will get to see people who have cleared the game multiple times and not give a fuck. There is one chapter where one guy is so bad ass that he rapes a boss before kicking the shit out of it. That is how epic this shit is.

Where can I find the episodes?

Myspace video, google, or you can purchase it at BestBuy. Mind you, it's pretty adult. So you might see some titties or exposed vagina along your viewing. The Manga is also pretty graphic
