6.3 watts off USB 2.0.
Samsung were able to achieve USB-only power by cutting the display’s power draw to just 6.3 watts. The panel itself is TN-mode and uses LED edge backlighting. It is capable of displaying a 1366 x 768 resolution, 250cd/m2 brightness, and has a 1000:1 contrast ratio.
The one downside to the display is its lifetime. Typical LCD panels have a usable life of around 50,000 hours, but this Samsung model only achieves a still respectable 30,000 hours.

Not the best monitor in the world but on 6 watts you have to admit that's something. |

One of the things I always hated was having to power everything separately.
I'd love a USB powered monitor |
