First, I'm traveling from Bangor, Maine to Baltimore, Maryland for Otakon this year. I've been wanting to go to this for about seven years now, and I'm really excited to go there. Leaving on the 29th of July.
Hopefully right after Otakon, I'll be going to NYC to go check out a grad school place I'm thinking about attending, so I'll be finally heading home from that probably on the 4th.
I get about a little less than a week of rest, and then I fly out from Bangor to Portland, Oregon. Gonna be doing a loop between a couple of nearby cities and Seattle before heading back on the 26th of August.
I tell ya, I've always wanted to go traveling, but never did I think I'd be able to pull all of this off, ever. I'm freaking excited. =)
The biggest trip I ever made was probably when I went to Germany for school in 2008, if that counts. Other than that, in 2004 we went to St. Louis and western Virginia (not West Virginia) in a trip related to something at my dad's work in the military. We actually stayed at an Air Force base for part of that Back when I was about 1-2 years old, for some strange reason my parents decided to go to Montana and Wyoming.

And what in the world is Otakon?
A huge anime convention. :p

This will be the first year since 2003 that I'm not flying to Texas to meet up with friends.
'Twas a one-two punch of insufficient funds (both the hosts and the attendees) and the Classic Gaming Expo at the end of July that killed it this year. I feel so lost. What am I going to do to fill the gap?
About the only remotely exciting thing scheduled for this summer is a trip to Seattle for my cousin's wedding, but that's only 2-3 days, one of which is fully occupied. Sigh...

I know how ya feel, man. I had to back out of my usual New Year's Extravaganza with a good friend of mine in NJ because he couldn't do it. =/
I ended up just going back to campus early, but if you got some pals around, you could always have a little fun party if you feel like it. I had an NES party during the time I was back on campus. =)

Usually do some traveling once or twice a year now that I've moved down here to AR (primarily to IL for friends/relatives). There may be a few more instances than usual this year, including a trip to Alexandria, VA in January provided the Magfest 9 meet-up that is supposedly happening with a few people here happens.
I doubt I drive to VA, but I usually do to IL with an '89 that can still kick it after 220K mileage.
Speaking of, last time I went to Otakon(2008) there was a dude dressed up as a ghostbuster whose proton pack was actually a stereo and he rickrolled everyone.
