For the uninitiated, Intel Atom processors are generally found in most netbooks or mini-ITX boards. The N series of them are limited to about a 10" screen for their use, which was primarily put in to make sure that people BOUGHT netbooks for that processor. Now, it's looking like Intel's wanting to change that...basically getting it to where a netbook can be as big as most laptops. Helps that there's other competition (namely, ARM) that's pushing 1080p resolution playback with their lower-line processors as well. |
