Rock Blast took out one of Clair's Dragonairs in one move. Chica's 120+ HP let her survive three Dragon Rages before needing healing.

Still at 12 badges, but I haven't been playing SoulSilver as often... but I did run through the Elite Four again for some more EXP and money. =P

It doesn't matter which order you do the gyms in Kanto, really... (I did Erika's and Janine's gyms first, followed by Misty's then Brock's... thinking about doing Surge's gym next, although I know he's going to be an evasion n00b like in every other game, also that annoying puzzle... =/)

It's really not that hard.

I didn't use ice or dragon at all to get all 16 of mine. The only one I had to really work at was Lance the first time through and I used a Rhydon to make it work.

I'm guessing SS?

It took me three run-throughs of clearing my balls out outside of my Master Ball to get it...and it was on the very first try of my third time. Had it down way into the red, paralyzed, caught it with a Dusk Ball on my first try.

Tried the same method with 40 more balls in those two runs before it. Nothing.

Yeah. My team is really not properly equipped to handle Lugia, with my strongest Pokémon being Grass, Rock, and Water/Poison type. (Ouchies.)

Plus no status conditions outside of confusion to weaken him down with. Or balls outside of Poké/Great/Ultra.
